What is Natural Mosquito Control?
Mosquito Joe offers a natural mosquito repellent in addition to our flagship and longer-lasting synthetic barrier spray service. Our natural treatments use a combination of essential oils, like rosemary and lemongrass, plus garlic to repel mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas from your outdoor spaces. When applied, the essential oils are diluted in water and become a low dose product that will allow you and your family to enjoy a bite-free yard.
How are Natural Treatments Applied?
The natural mosquito control option is applied to your yard using a backpack sprayer targeting shrubs, flowers, plants, vegetable gardens and even around ponds and water areas. Water areas such as pools, ponds, even standing water, are where mosquitoes, ticks and fleas like to hang out most and usually breed, rest and feed.
While we treat these areas, one of our service professionals will also inspect your property for active larvae populations and will then treat and get rid of them accordingly. Your Mosquito Joe of Salisbury-Rehoboth Beach technician will be happy to help you identify potential breeding grounds where these outdoor pests like to be in the most.
At the end of your treatment, the technician will then suggest ways to eliminate those areas and keep them from coming back. If you are not at home during your natural treatment, then your tech will leave additional notes on a door hanger.
